09-11-2020 Electronic Waste Recycling Event:

Electronic Waste Recycling Event was very successful with 20 huge box's full of computers, printers, TV's, Etc. brought in for recycling. Wado to the Cherokee Nation Environmental program and Karen Dye, Chelsea Jones and Jason White for all the work they did here at Victory Cherokee Org.

Due to COVID -19 the Cherokee Nation has continued an aggressive approach to slowing the spread of COVID-19, but the spread of  COVID continues. we will not be using our building or grounds for anything other than COVID response efforts if needed. There is an anticipation that the spread will continue at an alarming rate into the fall, perhaps even through the end of the calendar year. As a resulte of COVID-19 VCO will remaine closed through the rest of the calendar year. We will contnue to follow CDC guide lines.

ELECTRONIC WASTE RECYCLING EVENT:   September 11th  from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm Cherokee Nation will be at parking lot at Victory Cherokee Org. located at 1025 North 12th Street, Collinsville, Oklahoma to receive used electronics, computers, printers etc.

Starting the 1st week of October we will try to contact all paid members for voteing in our new board for the next two years. You must be a paid member to vote. Wado

As you all know , we have been closed from 1st of April because of the COVID-19 Virus and will stay closed until we have been given all clear to reopen. 




Because of the COVID-19 we have had to calcele the flute circle meetings. You will be notified when the next flute circle will begin again.  

:A flute circle is a gathering of people who meet regularly to learn, share, or simply enjoy the music of the Native flute.

Flute circles welcome all levels of flute-playing skill: from beginner to experienced; it is a gathering for anyone interested in the Native flute. Most flute circles embrace a philosophy of improvisation and playing from the heart’ so no musical experience is necessary.

Victory Cherokee Flute Circle  starts at 6:00 P.M. and will last until around 8:00 P.M.

Location: Victory Cherokee Org, 1025 North 12th street in Collinsville, Okla.

 DIRECTIONS: Come to Collinsville go down main street to 14th street, turn north on 14th street and go to cedar street, you will see sign that says Victory Cherokee Cemetery, turn right or east go about two blocks you will see Cherokee Food Distribution center on your left, keep going to cemetery you will see building at end of road.
